I too can bend my hand that way, but it is awkward and uncomfortable…
it looks like the thumb is the upper most finger, but it should be the pinky when the palm faces outside…but maybe it’s not the thumb after all, I guess with this flexing the pinky might look that way
It seems to be the little finger, it’s way too thin to be the thumb, and the when you put your hand like this, the palm of the hand has this shape, which can be confused with the base of the thumb shape :)
Maybe the actual thumb is too up and should be a bit lower. When I put my hand like this, my thumb tends to go downward and not in line with other fingers.
