Convention Schedule
I go to lots of conventions each year, if you’re interested in me attending an event near you contact the organisers to request me as a guest- the more people who request the more likely I am able to attend!
At larger shows I run a project called the Rainbow Road, helping people find other LGBT+ comics and merchandise at the show. If you’d like to be on the list for an upcoming show either email TabKimpton@gmail.com or send me a message on the social medias!

I have been a HUGE fan of Khaos Komix since I was in Middle School, I am now a fauxdult who has graduated from college and has an ‘adult’ job (so since you first started publishing online). Your comics have helped me discover my own sexuality, helped me through some difficult times, and opened my eyes to the experience of others. I will always be a fan. Thank you so so much for your wonderful work and all that you inspire in myself and others. Always a fan -Sarah
Hi there,
I hope this email finds you well. I’m getting in touch because I work for Bradford Literature Festival and this year we are hosting a comic con, Bradford Comico, on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.
Just to give you a bit of background knowledge, Bradford Literature Festival was set up in 2014 to celebrate a truly diverse range of literature and culture. The festival now runs across 10 days and hosts over 300 public events such as panel discussions, film screenings, writing and drawing workshops, and even cocktail making classes.
We have set up Bradford Comico as part of the festival because we are passionate about bridging the gap between what is seen to be mainstream or classic literature on one side and comics, manga and science fiction on the other. As well as an artists’ alley, the con will feature a number of panel talks, workshops, and demonstrations.
We are also particularly keen to being aspects of the Comico into our extensive education programme to bring STEM and the arts closer together.
I came across your page while looking at other cons and really like your work. I wonder if you would be interested in applying to host a stall in our artists’ alley? The application process is very simple, just a quick questionnaire:
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BradfordComico
The only thing to note is that the con will be family friendly, so NSFW content is fine so long as it’s tactically displayed.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like any more information about the festival. Alternatively, you can find us online.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
Rebecca
Do you think you’ll ever do Birmingham MCM Comic Con again?
Erm I don’t know If that sounds a little aloof or presumptuous, but I think it’d be awesome if you did.Reading Shades of A felt like breathing a sigh of relief.Im cool with who I am most of the time now ,tell the occasional person an everythin- some people even guess which is wild!(explaining doesn’t make me mad but it’s a lil awkward, and the fact people can ‘tell’ both makes me freaked out and relieved).Like I had a an idea of who I am,but with your comic it was like the people on the internet don’t hate me (so peeps outside probably don’t care all that much).Im cool with it but I’m not,I tell people but I don’t.Anyway, bit off topic, bit ramble-y , but main point being I think you and your comics are awesome.Unfortunately the only person I could convince to contact the organisers would probably be ‘me’ ,at a push,if I didn’t freak out.
Thank you for being you and your creative output positively impacting so many people’s lives.
(I’m sorry if I maybe should have posted this somewhere else.)
-A horribly awkward,but grateful,Fan
Yep I did it march this year and will be there again in november! I tend to stay with friends which makes it a much more chilled out event than london mcm.
