Sir, Butler and Boy ~ Pheasant Plucker ~ Page 2
This story is slightly inspired by the trip to the country in Withnail and I, including the awkward chicken killing scene. I spent a while looking up how a pheasant actually looks when it’s plucked, but decided to go with something less gory with a pile of feathers instead of keeping the feet on.
While hunting for reference photos I stumbled upon Janice Poon’s blog, who is the food artist behind the gorgeous (and horrifying) meals in the recent Hannibal series. It’s worth a gander if you have a strong constitution!
I don’t think I’ve ever actually /had/ pheasant? Not that I remember. I do recall a friend telling me about I think her granddad bringing home roadkill pheasant to cook and eat once though, which is a bit grim.
*saunters in like turn arrogant country boy I am* Pheasant is delicious – even when it’s roadkill (in fact, it’s better then because it’s free). Absolutely stinks when you draw it though. I wouldn’t want to be eating in that room rn.
Hey there first time commentor I can’t believe I found this comic just as it’s apprently ending! Just wanted to say I love it and the rest of your work going to have to binge the rest of your comics lol
Also wanted to say thanks for making this sexy and enjoyable comic! I’m basicaly a newbie to the whole bdsm thing(not gonna be able to explore it for awhile considering I broke up with my last relationship before we really delved into it) so this has been a rather interesting ride! Also love that your depicting a rather adorable relationship between three guysshowing lots of the subtle nuances and stuff I don’t think everyone understands or experiences!
Anyway I’ve rambled enough thanks for your wondrous work sad to see this particular series end but suffice to say I’ll be keeping a close eye on the rest of your stuff for a long while!
I thought of Janice Poon as soon as I saw that plate, before I even read the description! I’ve been coincidentally watching Hannibal and reading her blog lately; I love her work! It makes me incredibly happy that you used it as a reference!
