I love how awkward Jd looks, and poor Anwar is always being surprised by more and more things that freak him out just a little bit xD
So I can see why Anwar is embarrassed. But it almost looks like JD is as well?
I guess given their prior conversations and Anwar’s comments on ‘things’ (if this is Ellen, can’t tell since we saw her for all of a panel and this person looks kinda blonde?), then it’s probably just that JD is kinda feeling awkward about showing Anwar this part of JD’s life? I dunno, just seems like cool cucumber JD is feeling the awks and I can’t quite put my finger on why given what we’ve seen of JD’s personality?
(Yes, only using proper pronouns cause I can’t remember what JD’s pronouns are and I can’t remember the gender neutral ones off the top of my head. So sorry if it reads funny.)
I’m guessing JD’s awkwardness is due to the cognitive dissonance between their role as mastress to ellen and their role as anwar-friend. (pretty sure I remember that JD uses ‘they’)
I think part of it is JD feeling empathy awkardness on behalf of Anwar. JD also might have some unresolved feelings of their own, and JD was clearly not expecting Anwar there that night.
Believe JD goes by “they”
It might be uncomfortable because you dont ussually show off your mastress role with your friends. Id imagine juggling both would be something difficult taking into consideration Anwars general uncomfortablness with such things (as JD probably doesnt want him freaking out).
I think I’m glad my first munches were vanilla, because if they were all like this, I’d have wondered if people had OFF-switches, lol. I look forward to seeing these groups in vanilla spaces, if that ever happens.

This looks whole lot more like a play party than a munch
Yeah- this came up on the last page. I used munch because it’s a word used all around the country- ‘The play party’ doesn’t sound quite right and many places have their own term for this kind of event. For example Bristol is SWAMP- South West Alternative Market and Party. Do you have a suggestion for a word that could be used instead?
I’m used to munches being in a more vanilla setting at well. For a more private setting I’m used to calling them Kink clubs or Fetish clubs. Play party works too but to me that implies its at someone’s home or rented space.
Legit question: What’s the difference?
Munches are generally (in the US, that is) in a public area, like a restaurant or a bar and they’re vanilla. You wear street clothes instead of fetishwear and playing is not allowed. Play parties are just that – you can use the space for scenes or you can go around watching other people, if allowed.
I’m in the U.S. and we have both restaurant munches as well as wet munches at a kink-friendly bar where a bit more play goes on. (It’s a gay bar when not in kink munch mode, which seems to be a good bit similar to this.)
So if that was Ellen on the previous page, then the boobs weren’t just any boobs…they were BOOBS OF FORESHADOWING. (Boobshadowing, if you will).

TECHNICALLY she was interrupting An, though I take your point.
However if mastress said ‘bring it straight back’ then Ellen may be doing no more than she was told.
Depends on the type of play they’ve set out as guidelines, not everyone likes their submissives to be quiet.
Very true! I forgot we didn’t know their guidelines/rules, I was going off my own mindset when in play. I’m more used to silent, subtle interruption from mine.

The munch Anwar is going to seems rather intense. Is this what a munch is really like? Has the one I’ve been going to just super tame?
