Shades After Page 102
JD is the sensible one, always has been.
I’m at Manchester MCM comic con this weekend- it was an amazing show last year, looking forward to it!

Oh no, War – nooooooooo…
My thoughts exactaly.
When JD insist THIS much, Anwar should probably listen better. I don’t think he’s about to like what ever comes next. JD knows something he doesn’t and he’s already expressed issues with some of the things going on.
Nope, I smell a bad moment coming up.
Gotta say, it’s cool to compare this page to the same shot way back on Page 3.
Also, perhaps one happy day, ‘War will work out how to have Serious Conversations in an appropriate setting, rather than one that puts people horribly on the spot.
Whoa, that sounds bad. Anwar is NOT gonna like thiiiiis…. : (
Oh no, I’m so nervous as to what the outcome of this will be, and what Anwar’s walking into…!!! :(
WITH 12 OR 11 PAGES LEFT THIS SORT OF REACTION FROM JD IS THE ROOT OF MY FEAR BABY ANWAR STICK IN THEIR BROTHER
Oh ‘War, nooooooo!
He’s going to be with his Dom, isn’t he?
Yup. ‘War might just about be able to deal with seeing the aftermath of one of Chris’ sessions with Raven now, but he’s going to freak out seeing the actual event.
Yea most likely but didn’t he sort of meet ravin. Back in book 1 and it was clearly not enough but it may allow for a not so big shitstorm now?
Ooooh, yup! This is going to be really, really awkward. Like, heartbreaking awkward ಥ_ಥ
shits gonna get real
Ah! I didn’t catch that he was heading into the club. Ruh-roh.
Oh, wait! Maybe… maybe it’s actually a surprise party! With cake, and ice cream! And Anwar is just early, and they haven’t hung up all the streamers yet…
If there are desserts in play there, Anwar, err, probably wouldn’t want them.
Oh, my heartstrings… Part of me can’t believe the comic is almost over! But you’ve been doing an amazing job with it, Tab, and I look forward to all your future comics, so yay!
For crying out loud Anwar, you can’t pull this shit again! You know what, forget it, no matter what happens, Anwar brought this upon himself. Why should I pity someone who refuses to learn from his and others’ mistakes? You don’t put yourself and others into compromising situations that can be avoided by just taking a step back and pulling yourself together.
This is what I find most infuriating about ‘War, he lets his emotions rule him and brings everyone down with him. He hurts himself and others because he doesn’t even try to act rationally most times. The worst part is that he is capable of thinking things through and learning from past mistakes, but that side goes out the window the second something unexpected happens, aka the most important time to use logic. I know it’s hard and unfair to ask perfection from people, but at least do better than rushing in headfirst!
Tab, I seriously adore the depth you give to these characters, it gives me an excuse to leave nice long rants.
I agree. Anwar is definitely very flawed, and this is one of those infuriating moments where he’s doing lots of things wrong; it’s not going to work out well for him.
He’s going to see something that is going to disturb him, and it’ll likely affect everyone in the room, especially Chris :-(
