Shades After 075
I’ve updated my Con schedule for the year in the side bar- I just got back from BanzaiCon in Norway, after that it’s London MCM Comic Con, and then the VERY exciting FlameCon in NYC, my first trip to America since Disney land when I was 13 :D
I’m both terrified but also cannot wait to meet people- it’s all bought and paid for so if you’re nearby please come and say hi!
Anyway, enjoy the page- Pitch Perfect is a favourite of my little sister’s and while I didn’t appreciate ALL the jokes, I had a fun time. Acca-ceptable!
Hahahaha! Looks like Anwar is doing fine bonding with the children. I’d be giving the screen the same /:( look as Chris. The humor in “Pitch Perfect” is totally not appropriate for kids.
Eh, I think the older girl is definitely fine. The younger girl, maybe not quite as much, but most of the “inappropriate” content is innuendos that she wouldn’t get anyway, so is it really inappropriate if she doesn’t understand that its inappropriate?
Also, I don’t think the humor is that much raunchier than Mean Girls. And given how much Chris appreciated that movie, I can’t say it’s surprising that he’s not thrilled with Pitch Perfect.
Oh god i had to watch pitch perfect in a summer camp. I was supposed to be a pre-collage bonding thing since most of us were going to the same collage i left halfway through the movie. The characters were the type of people i wouldn’t hang out with.
Awww, too bad Anwar has to sit so far away from Chris. I’d want to at least sit next to him (because cuddling would probably be frowned upon with the kiddies right there).
Ah, I miss the previous button at the top of the comic :( I used to be able to push it when I’d be behind without spoiling the comic for myself. Now it’s gone!
Top right, it is the < ,hiding next to rss under the B of Tab.
Tadah! Also you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate now- perfect for lazy reading. :D
Yaaay, thank you! :D
Mwuahahahahaha, too late to put up that teenage “I don’t care about anything” facade, kid, your weakness has been discovered.
Ah, geez… now I feel sorry for Chris. He has to sit through girly movies :P
Not gonna lie, but being into movies like pitch perfect is a total deal breaker for me. Dunno if that makes me discerning or shallow :p
No it makes you a movie buff who can’t stand their art form being poached. I think what kinda movies you’re into says a fair amount as yourself as a person if it’s the right kind of movie. Sure it won’t be enough to make a total decision about someone but it can be a factor.
It makes you a bit of a movie snob. Since when is having different tastes in movies a total deal breaker?
Chris’s youngest rocking the thumb-sucking/hair-twiddling combo there ^^Beautiful bit of incidental detail!
Hah. Weve got you know eldest daughter Child.
Anwar does pretty good with kiddos.
I think ‘War and Eldest Daughter might end up as an equivalent of the Vitriolic Best Buds trope. I can imagine them building their entire relationship around increasingly well-meaning snarking at each other.
ANWAR: DAD’S PERFECT BOYFRIEND
Y’know… I’m yet to watch Pitch Perfect myself. Guess I’d better get on with that. :)
