So far I’ve been to Lima and Cuzco :o no Arequipa yet either xD we may go after we have the baby lol in Cuzco been to Tipon ruins (beautiful) and Macchu Picchu before the torrential rains like 5 years ago now. Saw a viscacha there and llamas :D In Lima I love Brisas del Titicaca restaurant and been to Miraflores, Costa Verde, Larcomar. XD haven’t been to Peru in years… But such an amazing awesome place!

I think it’s more of a tender expression
I got more of a “damn, I love this man…” feeling from it.
Sort of awed, too? Maybe. It just screams tenderness and love to me.
I see his expression as being more gentle and caring towards his lover. I also get the sense that Anwar is being enlightened to the nice side of sex. He’s always felt like he doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of the world because he doesn’t want it and he’s felt pressured by almost everyone in his life to “fix” him so he’s had a bad view of what sex IS. Sex is so much more then the physical aspect of the deed. And Anwar is finally starting to realize that.

I’m happy that they’re finding a balance where Anwar can start to feel safe even though he’s ace, but Chris can start to feel safe with his sexuality. That’s not something I ever managed to work out in a relationship…
I love how honest communication has brought them to this moment. There seems to be a balance now and it is great to see this maturity in Anwar. :)

i love this comic and am really annoyed i cant come to minamicon this year due to finances and 2 weddings to go to (me and my daughter are both bridesmaids/flower girls at both!) so i will miss that but i will keep reading and save up for next year! keep going tab your comics are always awesome!!

I love seeing these situations in fiction. I feel like I can deal with them better in real life now. And honestly Tab…it’s silly, but Shades of A is making me feel like my asexuality is more legitimate now. Thank you.
It’s not silly! Shades of A has really been the first webcomic – let alone THING – to really translate my own feelings and thoughts as well. Even while knowing of the Ace community and that I’m not “the only one like this,” it helps bring more validity to the situations and things we go through. I’m even happy/impressed that Tab was able/bold enough to translate some of the bad stuff (the things that Anwar seemed like a close-minded ass about) into the comics — stuff that I’m ashamed that I’ve felt before and still have the tendency to.
Really, this comic has been able to do so much more than just being a parody of 50 Shades. It’s its own thing now.

I love the contrast between them. Not just in looks, but in manner and sexuality. It still WORKS for them though, which is the best part. Good job, Tab! And Anwar is just adorable here.
