Second Servings ~ End
Whoooo that’s the last book extra done!!
In a nice way of rounding things off, in Issue 1, A Cream Tea, John says to Jefferson that he “should really try going second sometime”, and here it is!
I was thinking about what kink this issue covers (as it’s not as blatant as ones like A Spit Shine) and realised that it’s OBVIOUSLY about Sloppy Seconds, hence the name. However “sloppy seconds” isn’t uhhhh…. the nicest of names? I can’t think of any other phrase which describes this kind of thing though. A Creampie Compilation? There’s a great extra pun there, though it’s probably just as bad.
Now this has finished I’ve sent the book off and will be starting on the commission artwork for the SBB higher tiers! I’ll be sharing (with permission) some of those over the next few weeks. Looking forward to seeing what other minds come up with involving our boys…
It’s so weird to see this at it’s ending. It’s been quite a journey!
My pretty boys are going away :(
But loved this issue! The power play was delightful <3
Aren’t there specific names for afternoon vs morning tea? Or some particularly British term for reheating your cold tea?
What kind of monster reheats tea?!
I will if I have a sore throat and the tea’s some sort of lemon variety so that it better soothes my throat.
Please note that black tea dries the throat, so it’s better to drink some herbal one, like linden.
Dargeeling is traditionally drunk in the morning, Earl Grey in the afternoon. Ceylon or Assam would also be morning teas.
As suggested above, the British word for someone who reheats tea is “monster”. Reheating tea is criminal, it entirely ruins the flavour.
Absolutely lovely. <3 Thank you for all the hard work you've put into these boys.
im so sad its ending for reals…. it’s been an incredible journey
i cant wait to read what tab has in store for us!!
I am really impressed with all your comics, but this one gives off a completely different level of effort. Your other stories are easier to relate to as they take place in more modern day settings, but your butler series obviously has a lot of detail in the art style. It also appears that you did quite a bit of research on the particular era. Whether it was for your own personal pleasure or for the creation of this comic, it was quite well done.
History books like to omit the queers, but we all know this S%$# was happening.
Ps- I didn’t comment on your magicians comic, but I wanted to say that it was amazing and as a non cis person, it really resonated. Your work is fantastic, I hope you keep on creating more amazing master pieces.
I just love the fact that he’s clearly been used so much that he’s incoherent and just looking to be used some more. Gosh he’s so cute. And butlers look of surprise. Makes my day.
