She didn’t let you get raped! She did her best to move you away from the rapist. She was embarrassed, she was human, and she failed.
She was extremely selfish. She didn’t even bother to help him with the aftermath at least with counseling or showing him love and support. Instead she threatened him with eternal damnation and gave him religious trauma. She even said herself her reasons were self-motivated, not because she cared for him. That was what she thought appropriate to mention to him about the situation, how other people would think of her, not that she had his best interest because she cared for him.
