I love how pleased Chris looks in the second to last panel.
I was also noticing that. At first I thought that Chris might not like Anwar just bouncing into the middle of things, but apparently that was just the right approach. :)
That’s a sweet yet effect method of handling the ex wife =] Plus, Chris seems pleased with it, so it must be okay.

He wasn’t being a dick. He was being affectionate to his lover. It could be considered rude to display that affection in front of your lover’s former love, but from what I’ve gathered there was little love lost between Susan and Chris.
Also, this makes up for Anwar leaving Chris at the graduation ceremony.

I have found most animals to have very discerning taste, if animals don’t like a person there is usually good reason for it. And I have found cats to have a wide range of personalities. Yeah my wife had a cat that didn’t like anyone but her, but I have one that is a total attention whore, she’ll love up on anyone and everyone and even taps your arm imperiously when you dare to stop petting her.
I like how Susan looks like she might be gripping the chair tight ’til her knuckles go white.
Couldn’t even give Anwar a handshake? Unless it’s not unheard of for ex-wives to avoid the polite handshake of someone who’s currently dating your ex-hubby?
I is so confused.
Here’s hoping that what Anwar just did doesn’t cost Chris some time with his kids. I mean, what Anwar did wasn’t wrong, and in most situations he’d be totally justified in treating Susan with a little snarkiness, but the risk factor in this situation may have been a bit too high for it to be smart. Here’s hoping that I’m worrying for nothing. :/
I remember Chris saying that his wife did’nt let him see Their kids to begin with, so i doubt Anwar Did that much damage :(
See page 142 “full custody with no visitation rights”.
Yeah I know, but he did have some of his daughter’s movies at his place, and they were just talking about his son’s availability (I think), so as someone else pointed out, Susan may very well be allowing him to see them occasionally as long as she gets to have final say over where and when it happens. So again, hopefully Anwar’s actions don’t cost Chris, if there’s anything for him to lose anyway.
Is it just me, or does Susan look quite a lot like the middle person on page 91?

For real. Even though I’m Ace, I have totally poured it on super thick to piss off homophobes, perceived or otherwise.
Though to be fair, I don’t think I’d have done it in a situation like this. It could have lasting repercussions for Chris, and I wouldn’t want to be the one to be the reason he wasn’t allowed to see his kid anymore.
In this situation, I’d have probably stayed hidden until I was sure she was gone.
