Amber/Nay side story is already at its end ? I’m quite sad Tom/Alex side story comes that fast, and at the same time I’m happy about it lol. Can’t wait^^

Yeah, I remember that phase of being confused and certain that there was “something” I was attracted to if I could just find it. For me, it took the place of scouring the internet’s porn for the thing that would turn me on and determine my sexuality and luckily occurred when I was a young dumb kid fresh out of puberty so I didn’t have this type of moment.
While I’d never say anyone else specifically had this issue (totally a personal thing to decide) the attitude that “you get to have sex!” should be enough of a justification had me thinking I was asexual for a while before I knew that asexual was a thing. I ran into so many people back in high school and college who felt sex was the end all be all and none of the details really mattered that I thought I was abnormal for not wanting it with any of those people.
You’re definitely not alone. I pressured myself into sex in uni because everyone was such horndogs. I was convinced I could get into it if I just met the right guy.
I ended up dating a friend, and it kind of killed our friendship because I eventually had to explain that no, it wasn’t him, it really was me. As much as I wanted to, there was a Big Damn Wall there.
Hey, has anyone else forgotten that this is ‘sposed to be a 50 Shades of Gray parody/satire? I’d mostly forgotten since after that texting on the job scene.

its started as shade, nows not so much , uless chris gets anwar to do D/s stuff to try n calm him instead of cuddles then its not so 50 anyore. but its nice to have a kink and a sexual comic anyway.

Seems you’ve gone as far with it as you can – You wanted to show what a real scene was for contracted relationships and BDSM was like. Your characters have so much more to offer than SoG so it’s great they’re taking off on their own from here :)
It’s the best when characters do that, though :)
I don’t know, it still has a lot of potential for that since (from my understanding) SoA is supposed to be 50SoG but better and not creepy/rapey. It still follows some basic plot lines (like Chris and Anwar’s verbal agreement of boundaries ala Puke McDorkHunk’s ninety page contract). So, thank you Tab!

I have a friend who does some rather excellent genderflipped Twilight parodies, with two sensible characters who communicate and respect each other (Edith and Ben). Ben’s disability (lack of balance) is taken seriously, rather than as a device which turns up now and then when it’s useful to the plot and then is conveniently forgotten about; secrets are kept, but respectfully (“I can’t tell you this right now, because I’ve promised not to”); and everything is wonderful.
The point is, he parodies certain specific scenes from Twilight. He can’t do a complete retelling, because his characters are so different to the originals that they wouldn’t follow the same plot. He can write about how Edith and Ben would react if they found themselves in a certain situation, but he can’t bring them from one Twilight situation to the next, because they wouldn’t follow that path.
(He also has a “Snarky Twilight” series, in which Bella is meta aware, knows she’s in a book, thinks the story is silly and frequently refuses to cooperate, while being extremely sarcastic and occasionally going off and finding better series to hang out in. Also, canonical Bella’s love of her truck is expanded on here, since Snarky Bella’s truck is the TARDIS.)

Noooo Anwar! Those people are stupid and wrong! I thought I secretly liked chicks and was just repressing it when I was a teen, then I realized that wasn’t the issue. I think there are still people out there waiting for me to come out of the closet however T.T
And being demisexual and mostly homoromantic is even WORSE, because every now and again, it all makes sense….until it doesn’t, and you’re just like =.= Whyyyy? Poor Anwar. *pets him up*
I didn’t think Anwar looked so tall, just that his head was close to the top of the door from Chris’s lower perspective.
