James moved out to one of the smaller properties, so the parents are not around. As for other servants, I think they made a comment in one of the earlier stories that “the maid will be here in an hour” so I think that they have people come in to clean rather than having them in the house. Since it is just the three of them, Jefferson can handle most of the day-to-day stuff.
