Sir, Butler and Boy ~ Sins of the Father ~ Cover
This is basically a game of spot the religious imagery. The cover design itself is taken from an english catholic bible from 1880. We’re on issue 11 now, which I think means it’s straight to heaven?

Well, we got the trinity in the corners, kneeling in “prayer”, obviously the (rosemary?) necklace, coin in the hand is either nail holes or “give Caesar what belongs to Caesar”, boy in the background looks like he’s eating something, so reference to the garden, and the ink flow which could be a reference to the blood of Christ? May have been raised in the church. May accept the challenge Tab.
It’s a rosary. Also I think the round thing is a communion wafer.
Almost all of them- there’s one thing of importance you missed in his hands…
It looks like he’s wearing a wedding ring?
His Adam’s apple showing may also be a religious reference to sin. And the fact that there are three people (men?) forming a sort of triangle was very common in religious art during the Renaissance and in this case could very strongly resemble the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Although in this context I’m assuming they are a bit more literal, John being the father, the figure with the hat being his son (I’m guessing), and the other figure looks like a priest with that high collar. … I have never in my life been religious, so any of this could be entirely off.
Fuuucckkkkkkkk
I’m going to die this go round
I am a very religious person and I doubt I’ll ever be able to view Catholicism the same way after this. It’ll be worth it though. (;
