Ahhhh, Anwar~ Cutie sassy patootie! Though I understand and relate entirely to his feels. It’s one thing to know you can’t satisfy all of someone you like’s wants and needs, but another thing to have it “thrown” in your face. He’s so cute though~

Now to see if they can make Anwar un-upset and get to cuddling?

I know that feel, man. Though I’m a little better about hiding my anger than Anwar apparently is. Though in my personal version of this scene, my friend, whom I had a ragingly huge crush on, told me that I couldn’t give them what they needed, and said they’d rather just be friends. Then proceeded to tease me mercilessly by flirting with the person we were hanging out with.
oh anwar. you really do need to deal with things that are completely true, even when they remind you of your insecurities. *hug* and good luck with that…

Woooow Tab you are getting so good at drawing the most subtle facial expressions. Anwar’s slight blush and Chris’ eyebrow thing in the two first panels are truly amazing! Now I want to cuddle with both of them <3

This is what I can’t stand about Anwar. He’s too immature to have a conversation. He says the opposite of what he feels all the time, and it’s up to the other person to read his mind and cut through the drama. I really hope he grows out of it soon. I don’t get why this doesn’t send Chris running. Why would someone choose to enter into a relationship with someone who screams “I am not upset” when they get upset?
I can just hear Chris’s last line coming out in an absolute deadpan.
Poor Anwar, that feeling sucks. A lot.
It’s not fun to be on the other end, either; trying to find a way to break to someone gently that that person can’t give you part or all of what you need is extremely difficult. It can take a few rounds of…well… what’s depicted here before a rational conversation can happen. Or at least a conversation that ends in an actual conclusion; rational doesn’t always describe it.
I really love this comic. Anwar is kind of annoying me now – really really whiny. But I’m sure character development deals with it sooner or later :)

I know he’ll gain some maturity in time, but ouch. Poor Chris. =/
I’m glad I’m not the only one to read this page and think Anwar was being annoyingly immature rather than adorable. I sure do hope he grows out of it soon or I might lose patience with the comic >_>; which would be my loss but… eh.
Ugh I have had so many people do an Anwar. Not that I haven’t, but in this context where Anwar seriously has no experience in kink Chris was probably saving them a gaingantic ass pain. Having no experience doesn’t mean you’re bad, or is even a bad thing, it simply means I am not pulling out my chains and whips before you’re ready AND comfortable AND consenting. None of which Anwar is right now. I hope he cools off and let’s Chris finish.
Oh ffs everyone is so quick to judge the characters based on one sentence.
Last strip a whole load of people were like:OMG CHRIS IS AN INSENSITIVE BASTARD
This strip they are all:OMG ANWAR IS A WHINY BITCH.
It’s one sentence out of his whole life guys, chill. Do you judge real people this goddam quickly? Because in real life people act pretty much like thus you know, they are not always perfectly rational and emotionally ideal beings who state exactly how they feel in s sensible way.
3 sentences whatever :p
And this is the audience of Shades of A, ladies and gentlemen. Always judging and pointing out the incredible.
No one is disputing Tab’s ability to create believable characters.
That is not the point. The point is that people are making snap judgments of the characters based off very few lines of dialogue.
That last line: SO. MUCH. WIN.
